Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!

I think what I enjoyed most about this show was the plot. It's such a silly idea but it allows for such funny scenes. I also really enjoyed the relationship between adachi and kurosawa, Adachi has no confidence, he looks down on himself and always puts others over himself and when he finds out kurosawa has a crush on him, he's confused. Because how could someone as perfect as Kurosawa love him? I just think it's so beautiful how he learnt his self worth and learnt how to love and we got to see him change throughout the series AGHHHH..
Kurosawa is also genuinely the perfect man. Thinking his love is unrequited, he doesn't force his feelings onto Adachi. He consistently apologises (albeit in his head) to adachi for falling in love with him and is just so respectful all throughout the show. I also like that the show doesn't portray him as entirely perfect, although he may look perfect he has flaws insecurities himself.
I also enjoyed how while Kurosawa was valued for his physical appearance, Adachi saw him beyond face value and was the one who appreciates his achievements and effort.
This show was made with such care, the acting is phenomenal and it was a show I just really, really enjoyed.

what the fuck was that?
I watched this in 2024 but it took me so long to write the review because I’m still processing what I just watched.
I watched this in 2024, but it took me so long to write this review because I’m still trying to process whatever the hell I just watched. The plot—despite being absolutely fucking insane—actually touches on some real themes around depression and suicide, which I do appreciate. But the execution?? It was so intense that I think I’ve been legitimately traumatised. This isn't a film i'd reccommend lightly, i know i'm a hypocrite and all cause I'm 15 but listen to me just wait til you're 18 it's not worth it bro

TharnType is a beautiful show with strong character growth and a love story that's both intense and cute as hell. The chemistry between the leads is incredible, though i wont start on mewgulf.. idk what happened there :p. It’s funny, emotional, and overall a really enjoyable watch. The way the characters mature throughout the series really added depth i think, it made their relationship even sweeter. I'd say this is definitely worth watching!

Cherry Magic took me by surprise in the best way possible. As someone who adored the Japanese version, I expected this remake to be just decent and nothing more than that but GODDD WAS IT GOOD. Achi and Adachi are pretty different—Achi is a little more confident and self-assured, while Adachi is a nervous wreck (dont get me wrong, i love that about him!), they're really different so trying to pick a favourite seemed impossible to me, Adachi is definitely a cuter character. Karan and Kurosawa are very similar, they're both absolute green flags :3,, but Karan especially stole my heart with how SWEET HE ISSS!!
The storytelling was beautiful and I really loved how they paired up two side characters which didn’t happen in the original cus they were so cute!! I reccomend watching the Japanese version before you watch this one, but I really do reccomend this adaptation too!

I only actually watched this movie because I listened to Looking at you by RUNY (i fucking love RUNY) and was like ok lemme check it out, and I'm really glad I did because it was so sweet. I loved the actors and although it did seem a bit rushed, I honestly couldn't care less. The chemistry and tension between the two characters was amazing and the ending was SO SWEET!!!!!!

I'm gonna be honest when I first saw the description I thought this would be shit, I thought it'd just be pretending to be a BL but actually it isn't because the guy's actually a girl so it's straight!! Someone please tell me to stop judging things before I watch them because this was genuinely so funny. I loved the scene at the end where (spoilers) she's just watching her boyfriend kiss another guy with the most defeated look on her face. I love how they just made her play matchmaker instead of winning him back LMAO

The first time I watched this movie in 2021, I was 12 years old—and I hated it. I didn’t even finish it. I gave it a thumbs down on Netflix and moved on. But something about it lingered in my mind, and now, years later, I decided to give it another chance.
This time, now that i have a developed frontal lobe, i saw it's beauty. I love how it explores the battle between religion and homosexuality because, even now, it's still a thing that SO MANY queer people deal with. The fact that if "all homosexuals go to hell", maybe in hell we'd finally be understood. If you've watched it before, watch it again. I's fucking amazing, and I can’t stop thinking about it.
It’s a stunning film, not just visually but emotionally. I’m glad I came back to it.

Stay With Me is a drama that truly surprised me, especially with China’s strict censorship. But somehow, it still managed to build up the rivals-to-lovers dynamic SO well! The pacing? Actually amazing. The chemistry between the leads felt so natural and engaging, and the cinematography was mostly beautiful… except for that blue screen scene. But I will forgive it. This time. :p
The script was really good, and the actors brought so much depth to their roles! ALSO DUODUO OMG SHE’S SO CUTEEEEEE!!!
Near the end, I actually thought, ‘Wow, this is so sweet! What could possibly go wrong?’ And then. The ending happened. I am still recovering.
All i can do now is wait for another season...... if it ever happens.......

I am DISTRAUGHT.
I was really getting into this series, and I felt so upset when I realized I was on the last episode... But I understand, all stories must end someday. Except THIS ONE DIDN'T. It was cancelled. Unforgivable.
But! That does not ruin it for me! Even if I could not see the full story, what I did see was very enjoyable~ The way the two’s relationship developed was so fun to watch, and the story kept me engaged the whole time. I think my favorite part? The way they kissed so aggressively. They kissed softly maybe ONCE, but all the other times, they were trying to break each other's noses. Like, is it even a kiss if you don’t feel pain after?!
I had to give this a 5/10 on the toxic scale because, um, kidnapping your crush to make him love you is NOT okay. Also, there was some pressuring for sex, but honestly, I didn’t see it as too much of an issue!
If you are willing to experience the heartbreak of ‘NONONONO WHAT DO YOU MEAN THIS IS THE END??? THERE’S NO MORE???’ then I totally recommend this drama!
